From letter generation to direct phone calls to borrowers, DSS is able to support client loss mitigation needs. DSS is aware of the various loss mitigation alternatives available from the investors and insurers and will work directly with the borrowers to determine the best alternative to foreclosure. Borrowers may be offered repayment plans, partial claims and modifications as home retention strategies. In the event the borrower is selling the property, DSS will monitor and manage the sale process of the real estate and coordinate that with other default servicing activity. DSS will monitor the performance of any negotiated plan and refer loans to foreclosure where the borrower has failed to perform according to the plan.
